My belief is that photography should be about sharing. Helping out your fellow photographers, whether they are a complete novice or a master photographer, is a great way to make people feel good and gain confidence in what they are doing. Photography is also a lot, and I mean a lot, of trial and error.

I will be sharing the information I have learnt along the way, through my own trail and error, and hopefully it will help those of you interested in taking up photography. I will be using examples from my own collection while describing the setup I used to get that shot, and any tips or tricks to finally getting the shot that I discovered.

There are some terms, which you should have some basic understanding, which can be found on the definitions page. These are not complete or the only terms that apply to photography. Another important aspect is to understand that nothing I have to say is absolute. In fact, I encourage you to gather additional knowledge from many different sources to see what can work best for you. These are the just the things that have so far worked best for me.
